Richard Osley from the Camden New Journal shares his thoughts about the Austerity strikes of the 30th Nov 2011, and the thoughts from the frontline look rather dire. He's not that keen on how councillors have handled the strike action, and as a general observer yetsreday there seemed to be varying degrees of approval from the public about the strike.

The decision seemed so torn as many could not decide how fair it was, with many appreciatingt the cuts were severe, but noting that they themesleves 'had no such benefits'.

It's this disparity that leads to the confusion as the system isn't weighted prpperly with many people both public and private sector consfused as to their long term benefits. Not raising wages in terms with inflation is no solution but with such economic bad tidings what do we do?

Where do you stand on the Austerity strike- and what do you think we could do to work this out?
