I'm a Camden girl and love the area but there's no denying our beloved borough could use a bit of R&R. Thankfully we don't need to go to |Groupon for this as we've just been given some much needed regeneration cash to pretty up the area,

£2.2m funding came from the Mayor of London's Regeneration Fund, and £1.12m from Camden Council, Camden Town Unlimited and Transport for London- so we should have some great changes happening soon in the local area.
Councillor Sarah Hayward, Camden Council's Cabinet Member for Communities, Regeneration and Equalities, said: "This much needed investment will contribute towards our plans to transform the south of Camden Town. It will radically improve the street environment and attract new jobs and businesses to the area."
The cynical part of me thinks this is a ploy to make Camden Town ready for the 2012 Olympics, but the rest of me doesn't really care, as whatever the reason, the fact is that the Camden area will now be getting some great improvements.
