I love the architecture in the borough of Camden and it's always nice to see that a company wants to work with what we have here. I've just learnt that the two empty warehouses next to Euston (part of Camden borough) are being renovated in the new year, with £52 million going into regenerating them.

That sounds pretty cool, and the 1960s buildings are a bit of an eyesore and I'm curious to see what they will come up with,

Here's what they say;

'Architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris have come up with a design which reconfigures the existing structures, adding new 'sky box' extensions to the rooftops. The character of the large internal volumes of the warehouses will be replicated in the double height new-build floors. A highly insulated skin will cover the existing buildings and large new window openings created to bring additional daylight.'

They plan to start early 2012, and there will also be an area for residential letting which is useful, as well as a green space.

What do you think- would you rather they'd have left it, or will you be lining up to work there?
