Occupy London- did any Camden students go to the protest?

Occupy London has been making headlines over the last few weeks with people camped out at St Paul Cathedral and a tent army of angry students and protesters trying to make a point. Today, the protest took a new level with a big student march against an increase in university fees and Camden Town- and Central London was gridlocked and had a strange atmosphere.

Not actual Occupy London protest picture
Cars were either at a standstill or shunted down side roads, so the main streets were clear and people were walking on the road.
A friend in Farringdon reported a giant wave of people marching past his office and the Occupy London protesters joined up with the students as well. There has been a lot of hype about the protest with police claiming they'll use rubber bullets not especially helpful- but crowd control is an issue. For most people this might not have changed their daily life that much- but were you one who was affected?
I didn't go near the march but had transport messed up for me all day- and I can imagine others had a much more interesting time. Did you go on the march- and why? Pleases share your reasons below, and let us know if you think the goals were achieved.
