If you've ever thought you have it in you to run a market stall or have an idea but don't know how to get it to the public, then this is your chance to turn it into reality - for just £10.
For a limited time Camden Council is offering market pitches for just £10 a day.
The offer is part of love your local market fortnight, being held from 23 June to 8 July. Retail expert Mary Portas recommended 'tables for a tenner' after being commissioned by government for ideas to revitalise Britain's high streets. Ms Portas highlighted the importance of supporting local markets, including established traders and encouraging new business.
The council also recognise that its many markets form part of the heart of the community, and would encourage entrepreneurs and those wanting to have a go to sign up now.
The following markets are participating in the scheme
Leather Lane 25-29 June, 2-6 July
Chalton Street 29 June, 6 July
Plender Street 25-30 June, 2-7 July
Queen's Crescent 28, 30 June, 5, 7 July
For more information, visit our markets page. Contact 0207 974 2500 or email tablesforatenner@camden.gov.uk to book a stall.

This is a great idea. I have often thought about trying my hand at selling at a market, so this gives an opportunity to give it a go and dip your toe in the water.
