The Diner in Camden Town is a fun place to eat and drink, its just missing one crucial "cool" element.

Having grown up watching Saved by the Bell I always longed for a burger and fries served by Kelly Kapowski in the Max. I think this goes to explain my soft spot for any American styled bar/restaurant I ever come across.

The Diner in Camden, much like the other restaurants in the chain, serves up a generic mix of authentic American fare with a decent selection of cocktails and milkshakes thrown in. The food is nothing special if a little overpriced and the authenticity spoilt slightly by the 100% non-American staff. However, the novelty of sitting in a bright red booth is good enough for me and the food is reasonably tasty. One point to note is there are no suitable chairs to sit on backwards whilst pretending your AC Slater.
