Even Nine in Action
Lead singer Jody Martin diced with danger at one gig, when water flooded the stage and into electrical equipment.
"It was a bit frantic for a moment," said Jody.
Guitarist Rick added: "Jody's known to do a lot of jumping around. At this gig the stage was a bit wobbly and so he leapt into the air but as he came down he took several pint glasses with him."
"We've all taken shocks of microphones over the years and were well aware of the dangers when the water just went everywhere," said Jody.
"Fortunately our road crew jumped into action and started tearing various lights, pedals and speakers apart mid-song to make everything safe. The show has to go on, right?"
The band have played in venues across Bath, Colchester, Northampton, Leicester and London as part of their 'Brakes' Tour in support of their new single and video which is out now - and you can grab a copy of both at the gig for just £1.
Their every step is also being followed on tour by a small film crew. It is hoped a short documentary will be released next year, also following their progress as they record the follow up to their debut album, No Heroes Anymore.
