On 5 December, following the ‘Baking and Making’ event, Global Generation and its BTEC students will be running a Christmas market at the Skip Garden (so named because much of their fresh produce is grown in industrial skips) with the assistance from local businesses as well as talented chefs from the Gilbert Scott restaurant.
The Christmas market will be a great opportunity to buy a selection of beautiful handmade and locally sourced Christmas presents, such as jams, chutneys and chocolates, as well as a variety of unique creations made from oak blocks from Granary Square. The Gilbert Scott restaurant are creating a special edition of products for sale alongside the chutneys, jams and cakes made by the volunteers from King’s Cross & St Pancras Business Partnership. The Christmas Market will also be selling heartwarming and seasonal lunches, dinners, cakes and mulled wine, as well as plenty of warm and cozy places to sit and eat in.
