There will also be a public meeting on 2nd March at the Town Hall in Judd Street at 7pm, we urge all people, especially from Camden to try and attend.
Camden Council recently gave the go ahead for the UKCMRI project, a massive biotech and virus's research laboratory at a cost to the tax payer of £220 million pounds. Yet for just a fraction of this sum, the council could retain all the vital services which are currently threatened by savage government cuts.
This is a dangerous place to build such a facility as it is not only in the centre of a mass populated area, but it is also a direct link to Europe, via King cross Eurotunnel. We have only to look at a recent outbreak of foot and mouth that was accidently released from a lab. The implications of a leak from this project currently being developed is far and wide reaching in its impact.
We urge one and all to make the council and government stop this lab being built, especially in such a populated area. The Guardian in 2008 reported that there had been over 70 dangerous incidents in labs and breaches of health and safety regulations aimed at controlling dangerous pathogens. As recently as July 2010 it was reported that the Health protection agency had been fined £25,000 for exposing staff in its Colindale factory to a spillage of the deadly 0157 strain of E.coli, when more than a miillion doses of the bug were leaked. So please take action to stop this UKCMRI project from continuing.
With March the 25th a few weeks away it would be good to have some idea of a people's charter/constitution, made for the People, by the People. We would like to propose the first three points to put forward for a NEW written Constitution.
1. We the People are demanding the law of the land apply within parliament with a fully transparent and a just system favouring democracy of the people, whereby the government and police are held to account for their actions against the people.
2. We the People are demanding that members of parliament appointed and acting on behalf of the people shall have no other vested interest other than that of the people.
3. We the People are demanding an end to injustice.
There were other points, but these first 3, if applied would be a staring point for a reality check. We are in NOW TIME, a time for real change.
Make the 29th March a new leaf in the history books, where no one is getting burned.

Can we the People all agree on points 1- 9 by the 26th March, with points 10 -26 needing a little more time and further discusson
