Every struggling band on the circuit knows that the Barfly in Camden is a great place to play. The sound (and sound engineers) are superior and the atmosphere and audience are always fantastic. The same is true for music fans looking for some good live music on a night out. The Barfly hosts a wide range of bands from hot-tipped unknown artist to established alternative rock bands. It's small and intimate enough to give a great view and very inclusive live music experience, while still big enough to create the atmosphere of real rock and roll. The drinks can be a bit expensive, but pretty much on a par with other venues and clubs, and the range of alternative music they cater too really makes for a good night out, whether you're seeing anyone in particular, or just chancing it to check out some new emerging bands. All round a great place to both gig and watch real music without pretence.
