I don't know about you, but sometimes I'm just really hungry. I mean REALLY hungry. The sort of hungry where all you can think about is food and how five courses of hearty food might just possibly be enough to satisfy you for the time being. Unfortunately those five courses are likely to come at a price. The answer? It's buffet time! And where better to go than Camden's Max Orient. This buffet is unmissable, on the high street between the lock and the railway bridge its bright orange front and giant dragon over the door really stand out whilst also fitting in well with the feel of Camden. Inside you will find an all you can eat buffet priced between £7-£10 depending when you go. The drink prices are OK and the table service adequate. The food in Max Orient is predominantly Chinese style although a few non authentic items crop up now and again. Whilst I would not describe the food as amazing, it is not at all bad. It might have that mass produced school dinners feel to it but on the whole it's OK. The biggest draw of this buffet is the amazing choice you have. There is an almost overwhelming selection to choose from for both carnivores and vegetarians alike and a great novelty chocolate fountain if you have room left for dessert. My advice is to have a small bit of everything, work out which dishes are the best and then eat until you can eat no more!
