Camden has something to be proud of at the moment- its schools! The average attendance of primary and secondary schools in the borough has been revealed to be 94.5%. That’s an extremely impressive amount- how was it achieved?

Councillor Heather Johnson, Cabinet Member for Children, Schools and Families, Camden Council, said: “Camden schools have worked really hard to improve their levels of attendance and it is fantastic that 43 of our 56 schools have increased their levels of attendance. All their hard work has paid off and we have seen a year-on-year increase in attendance which has resulted in the highest level of attendance in our schools for the last twelve years.”

I’m very proud to see these high levels- hopefully it will continue.
