Sometimes city dwellers miss out on some things- like sprawling garden centres filled with great stuff. This place is a hidden gem, with everything you'd need at a variety of price points. Whether you're after a gnome or a water feature, you're sure to find something that you'll like here and the staff are happy to educate you. They even hold training sessions (check the dates first).

This is a great little city garden centre. The staff are very relaxed and friendly and I've always found their advice very helpful, if they don't know, they'll look it up, so be brave and ask questions.
It is well stocked in seeds and growing pots and has quite a good range of outdoor and indoor plants given its size. They even have a small range of garden furniture and BBQs if you are really in the mood. Perfect for London homes with not much space, though you may want a little more if you have a full size garden.
It's the right time of year to start thinking about what you want to grow, and the fashion is still very much on the Felicity Kendal world of 'grow your own' - why not pop down this weekend and start your growing adventure. Even if it's just a cactus, everyone has to start somewhere.
Camden Garden Centre sells pretty much everything you could want for the garden. Its outdoor area is large and had an excellent selection of plants, pots, fencing etc. Inside it has a good selection of indoor plants, tools, fertilisers etc. It also has a small but good furniture and BBQ section.
